So that was fast. I just clicked 'Reading' this morning and now it's 'Read,' and I'm a mess, having inhaled Miren's words in record time. I meant to read a different book first, but I peeked and read the first few lines of Loveless Childless Clueless. And there really was no going back after that.Someone once said that with books, you might not always remember exactly what happened within the pages, but you're sure to remember how the words made you feel. This is going to be my relationship with this book. I'm going to remember how it felt like I was inside the pages, as if I WAS Anna, jarred out of that only at those times when I disagreed with the things she allowed to happen, and things she allowed to be said to her. I was Anna when she likened paint to lovers, when she stumbled and knee-punched her way into Krav Maga, when she put on her first swipe of lip gloss. Also when Enzo found her, and when Miggy found her.
I'm still reeling from that roller coaster of the last 30% of this book. I'm going to need to talk (ramble) to the author about this soon. Or to fellow readers who have formed an LI team. There's a lot of things I still need to process, but I do know that I need more of Miren's honest, soul-wrecking writing. I'm a fan.

Easy read. Loved it
The first truly honest piece of literature I've read in a while depicting what it's like to be a modern Filipino single woman in her 30s - without all the whining. It's real and raw. Honest and heartfelt. Comedic vulnerability with a heavy dose of courage.
I really liked this story. It was a short read, but it's totally a memorable one. The protagonist is so relatable and real. I was rooting for her. I give this 3.5 stars. I'm looking forward to reading everything else Ms. Flores has written. This book is perfect for anyone just trying to find their way.
Loveless, Childless, Clueless is the 2nd Miren Flores' book that I've read and as always she never fails to tug at the heartstrings of her readers with her words. I have so many feelings with this book that I don't know how and what to write first. All I know right now is that, my heart hurts for Enzo and that I wish he finds his happiness soon.
Miren writes beautifully and honestly. The metaphor that I will always remember paint being mixed together to describe how lovers sometimes lose themselves in each other and in the relationship--and not always in a good way. I hope Miren writes more books because we need more of her honest, precise voice. Get this book because it's written flawlessly, and it will make your heart break (and mend) a thousand times over.
I was drawn in by the title and of course the excerpt. Loved Anna's voice as she goes from broken-hearted to meeting a possible new man, but still, the entire time, hopeful and clueless. Finally, she comes out of her shell and takes on the world. I loved traveling this journey with her and will look for more books from Ms. Flores
A really nice read, a bit different from the romance books I've been reading lately. The story is about 35-year-old Anna and her journey through heartbreak. It's a melancholic story that I can relate to, and I like how Anna handled her situation. Her emotions and feelings are raw, and I like how she's angsty but not to the point of being irrational. She acknowledges her confusion when put on the spot, and she's very mature.
